Collier mural en faïence blanc et rouge, perles faites chacune à la main. Aucune n'est émaillée, tout est brut, mat. Certaines perles sont rondes, d'autres allongées, ou encore des tronçons ondulés ; la pièce en bas à gauche est en forme de « L » couché, elle crée un angle droit au collier. Petite fille, l'artiste rêvait de posséder un long collier, extravagant et bien visible — un de ceux que sa mère trouvait trop vulgaires pour elle. Avec cette œuvre, elle répond enfin à sa mère : un collier démesuré, fait main, qui ne brille pas et qui a une forme irrégulière et anguleuse. Wall-mounted necklace in white and red earthenware, each bead made by hand. None of them are glazed, everything is raw, matte. Some beads are round, others elongated, or shaped like wavy segments; the piece at the bottom left is shaped like a lying-down "L", creating a right angle in the necklace. As a little girl, the artist dreamed of owning a long necklace, extravagant and unmissable — the kind her mother considered far too vulgar for her. With this piece, she finally answers her mother back: an oversized, handmade necklace that doesn't shine and has an irregular, angular shape. Wandhalskette aus weißer und roter Fayence, jede Perle von Hand gefertigt. Keine ist glasiert, alles ist roh, matt. Manche Perlen sind rund, andere länglich oder wie gewellte Segmente geformt; das Stück unten links hat die Form eines liegenden „L" und erzeugt einen rechten Winkel in der Kette. Als kleines Mädchen träumte die Künstlerin davon, eine lange Halskette zu besitzen, extravagant und unübersehbar — eine von jenen, die ihre Mutter als viel zu vulgär für sie empfand. Mit diesem Werk antwortet sie ihrer Mutter nun endlich: eine überdimensionale, handgefertigte Halskette, die nicht glänzt und eine unregelmäßige, kantige Form hat.
