ASIA DUSONG “Le Murmure” 2023 Céramique 42 x 38 cm (17 x 15 in) Unique « Le Murmure » est rond et se compose de deux pièces. La première pièce, matte, est un plat rond en terre brute blanche, avec une bouche discrète et deux points pour le nez. La deuxième pièce, un cadre en céramique vert clair, entoure la première pièce. D’un aspect simple, cette œuvre est une critique subtile de la stigmatisation de la beauté féminine dans le monde contemporain, et une affirmation de la force intérieure plutôt que de l’apparence physique symbolisée ici par l’émail brillante. « Le Murmure » is round and consists of two pieces. The first piece, matte, is a round plate in raw white clay, featuring a subtle mouth and two dots for the nose. The second piece, a light green ceramic frame, encircles the first piece. With its simple appearance, this artwork is a subtle critique of the stigmatization of feminine beauty in the contemporary world, and an affirmation of inner strength over physical appearance, symbolized here by the glossy enamel.
